Building Manager – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Manager to oversee a residential site on a 6 months fixed term contract.
This role would suit candidates from a BTR or PBSA background who are confident managing day to day building operations, resident experience and onsite teams within a fast paced living environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations of the residential building
* Act as the main point of contact for residents
* Oversee lettings activity, viewings and void management
* Coordinate contractors, repairs and maintenance works
* Carry out regular building inspections and maintain presentation standards
* Manage onsite staff and operational rotas
* Handle tenancy matters, resident queries and issue resolution
* Monitor compliance including H&S, gas, electrical and fire safety requirements
* Support budgeting and approve contractor invoices
* Ensure apartments are ready for occupation and minimise void periods
Requirements
* Experience within BTR, PBSA or residential property management
* Strong operational and customer-facing experience
* Confident managing contractors and onsite teams
* Good understanding of residential compliance and building operations
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Available to start at short notice
