Assistant Management Accountant
The Assistant Management Accountant supports the Finance and Accounting team in producing accurate and timely financial information, assisting with all aspects within the finance function. The role helps ensure financial data integrity and supports decision‑making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for the Purchase Ledger
* Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts for Coral Windows
* Accurately prepare and record all journal entries for all relevant entities
* Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, documenting reconciling items and ensuring all differences are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly
* Prepare VAT returns
* Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures
* Provide support for the year‑end audit and statutory account preparation
* Support the Finance Controller and Management Accountant with ad‑hoc projects and process improvements where necessary
* Provide adequate cover over the finance team where required
* Any other ad‑hoc tasks as requested
Experience / Qualifications / Skills
* Relevant experience in a similar role
* Strong technical, analytic, and reporting skills
* Excellent IT skills (advanced knowledge of Excel essential)
