Offer description

We are looking for an Office Manager to organise and supervise administrative systems within Harris Academy Beckenham. If you are interested in planning, developing and monitoring support services and managing administrative support staff, this could be the role for you.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

* NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant discipline
* Several years' experience working in an office environment at senior level
* Experience of using Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience of using Bromcom or other MIS
* Experience of working with the general public
* Experience of using, maintaining and developing administrative systems
* Good understanding of databases, including ability to use database to procedure reports and statistics
* Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation

Harris Academy Beckenham is a happy, energetic and inclusive 11-18 academy which is widely recognised as one of the most successful and highest performing schools in Bromley. We retained our 'Outstanding' judgement in May 2023 following our previous 'Outstanding' inspection in June 2017. We are one of 52 schools in the country to retain this judgment. The academy is oversubscribed with 1,500 applicants applying each year for 180 places. The academy has a reputation of excellence, high standards of discipline and behaviour and a proven track record of academic success with outcomes significantly above national averages across all measures.
