Responsibilities
S has Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and uses a powerchair 24/7. Despite his condition, he leads an active, fulfilling life, enjoying watching cricket and football matches, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. He values his independence and needs a carer who can help him live life to the fullest.
As a Live-In Carer, you’ll assist S with moving, positioning, and personal care while encouraging his independence. Driving a manual car is essential, as S has a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) that allows him to maintain a busy social life, including late nights and events.
This role requires female carers, someone who is energetic, adaptable, and passionate about supporting others in achieving their goals and enjoying life.
* Competitive daily rates of £125
* Mileage allowance of 35p per mile if you use your own vehicle for work-related travel
* Food allowance from the customer
* Comfortable accommodation with a private room, TV, and WiFi access
* Regular, scheduled daily and weekly breaks, which can be spent inside or outside the customer’s home
* Clearly defined work and downtime schedule for work-life balance
* Ongoing training, support, and access to our career pathway for qualifications to grow your confidence and skills
* Regular contact with a supportive manager

* A compassionate, patient, and reliable individual with a passion for helping others
* Someone who can adapt to S’s dynamic lifestyle, including his passion for cricket, football, and music
* A full UK driving licence is essential
* Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – we provide full training
