Assistant Manager:
The position would also suit a highly motivated, good, confident, experienced and highly skilled Deputy Manager of a care home looking to progress into the next level. The candidate will have the full support of the Registered Manager and Registered Provider to excel in the new role.
As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for:
* ensuring everything runs smoothly at the care home.
* care home is fully compliant with CQC regulations
* residents receive the best care in a safe and proper manner
* lead by example the team of staff in a professional manner
* working closely with Home administrator for budgeting purposes
As an Assistant Manager:
* Have NVQ level 3 or working towards Level 4 or 5 or equivalent
* Have at least 2 years experience at management level.
* Have very good working knowledge of CQC regulations
* Good understanding of the day to day running of a care home
* Understand the importance of team work
* Lead by example and possess excellent communication and listening skill
* Ensure continuity and stability of the home
* Safeguarding
* DOLS
* Booking in Medication
* Rotas
* To assist the manager in the smooth running of the home.
