About The Job You’re Considering

As a graduate in User Experience, you will work with other members of the team to make a positive impact on client projects through the application of user‑centred design and research methods. Day‑to‑day you will contribute to the execution of design activities as part of multi‑disciplinary teams. You will apply a range of research and design techniques and work with colleagues in the analysis of findings and creation of new experiences.

Hybrid working

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and your home, noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

* Research users and help identify the best methods to understand their needs.
* Contribute to the usability testing process from the development of user recruitment briefs through to test moderation, analysis and report writing.
* Apply qualitative research methods such as user requirements gathering, prototype testing, guerrilla research, and other approaches to understand business and user needs.
* Work with clients and colleagues to understand how factors like policy, legislation, business constraints and technology impact user experience.
* Apply best practice in researching and designing for users with accessibility and assisted digital needs.
* Help run meetings and workshops with clients, stakeholders, and users – with the support from other members of the team – to align business and user needs.
* Design user interfaces for mobile, tablet and desktop, following best practice in information architecture, navigation, and user flows.
* Create iterative prototypes using tools such as Sketch and Figma for user testing.
* Iterate design solutions based on feedback from clients, colleagues and stakeholders.

Graduate Empower Programme

The Empower Programme provides hands‑on experience, structured development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. You’ll join a supportive, feedback‑rich environment where you’ll build consulting, technology, industry, and soft skills – whether in business analysis, data, project management, software development, cybersecurity, AI or creative design.

Designed to help you thrive, offering technical and professional development alongside tailored feedback and mentoring. You’ll have regular social and networking events to strengthen connections across teams and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.

The Empower Programme equips you to succeed in dynamic roles that integrate both technology and business expertise to deliver value for clients. Built around six essential Power Skills, the programme blends client work, role‑specific training, and collaborative projects. You’ll join Learning Pods to build cross‑functional networks and follow personalised development roadmaps that guide your growth.

Your Skills And Experience

* Degree within a design‑related discipline: Human‑Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Cognitive Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or related field.
* An understanding of user‑centred design methods and techniques.
* Understanding of design and research related tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Mural etc.
* Analytical thinking, process‑oriented skills, good verbal, and written skills.
* An awareness of web technologies and responsive design patterns.
* Ability to work collaboratively within multi‑disciplinary teams.
* Keen to learn, evolve, and continually challenge yourself and the way you do things.

Your clearance

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre‑employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back three continuous years, and an unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last three years, further checks may be required. Other criteria and checks required for BPSS will be discussed throughout the recruitment process.
