We are recruiting on behalf of a leading data centre provider for a Control Room Shift Engineer to join their high-performing team at a state-of-the-art facility in Corsham. This role offers the opportunity to work within a mission-critical environment, supporting the smooth operation of advanced engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and other control platforms.
* Respond to alarms and faults in real-time, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of critical engineering infrastructure.
* Maintain accurate logs and reports in line with operational procedures.
* Support planned and reactive maintenance activities in collaboration with engineering teams.
Candidate Requirements
1. Recognised Level 3 or above qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services.
2. Membership of a professional engineering institution (e.g. CIBSE, IMechE, IET) is desirable.
