Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (FTE) and depending on experience
Location: The Barn Animal Practice, Basingstoke
Job Type: Open to Full-time or Part-time Hours
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, 1:4 Saturdays, no OOH

The Barn Animal Practice has proudly served the local community for over 50 years, delivering high‑quality veterinary care for small animals. We cater for cats, dogs, rabbits and a wide range of small mammals and exotics, including guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, tortoises, and birds.
Who We’re Looking For
- Team‑oriented Veterinary Surgeon with excellent communication skills and high clinical standards
- Interest in diagnostic imaging is desirable and basic proficiency in abdominal ultrasound is essential
- Cardiac ultrasound experience is desirable
- Enjoy a varied role combining consults and surgery
- Comfortable working sole charge during some Saturdays
- Confident making independent clinical decisions
