Are you an experienced Payroll Manager, looking for an opportunity to make real impact, optimise processes and lead and develop a fantastic team?
As Payroll Manager here at Rexel you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and motivation of the payroll team to deliver accurate and efficient monthly and annual payroll processes. Working as a key member of the People team, you will ensure timely service delivery while maintaining quality and consistency across the payroll processes. You will promote and maintain positive relationships internally and externally, developing the payroll team to be efficient, streamlined, and customer focused.

Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the payroll team to deliver accurate monthly and annual payroll processes
* Ensure timely service delivery with high quality and consistency across payroll processes
* Promote positive relationships internally and externally and drive a customer-focused payroll function
* Collaborate with HR, Reward team, HR Operations and external bodies such as HMRC
* Support continuous improvement and adoption of payroll best practices
Skills & Behaviours
* Proven experience managing a payroll team and delivering payroll processes to required timescales
* Experience in a customer-focused environment
* Ability to deliver continuous improvement and best practice in payroll operations
* Extensive payroll knowledge and up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation
* CIPP qualification or equivalent
* Strong proficiency with MS Office and payroll applications, including ResourceLink
* Ability to manage payroll data accurately, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and data protection requirements
* Experience producing timely reconciliations, reports, and maintaining payroll procedures and manuals
* High levels of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
* Strong partnership skills to collaborate effectively with 1HR, Reward team, HR Operations, and external bodies
