We are working with a prominent secondary school in Manchester seeking a proactive and empathetic Attendance & Welfare Officer. This is a full-time, permanent role starting ASAP, focused on ensuring every student reaches their highest potential through consistent engagement. The Role Monitoring: Track daily attendance and punctuality data with total precision, identifying patterns of persistent absence. Intervention: Meet with parents and conduct home visits to identify and resolve barriers to school attendance. Safeguarding: Act as a key link between the school and external agencies to ensure the welfare of vulnerable learners. Reporting: Provide technical support to the Senior Leadership Team by producing impact reports and statutory attendance returns.
