Mechanical Project Manager Central Scotland Full-Time Permanent We work in close partnership with clients, from project inception through to final delivery, and our flexible, enthusiastic, innovative, and personal approach to work ensures that all client requirements are achieved. Due to continued growth and success, we are seeking an experienced and driven Mechanical Project Manager to join our team, supporting projects across Central Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and forward-thinking business delivering major MEP projects across Central Scotland. The Mechanical Project Manager will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical and wider MEP packages, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with internal design, engineering, planning, commercial, and operational teams, you will manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and final account. The role involves coordinating labour and subcontractors, managing technical submissions and project documentation, overseeing project programmes and budgets, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. You will also play an important role in leading and developing site teams, promoting a positive Health & Safety culture, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and driving a right first time approach to project delivery. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile projects within a collaborative and supportive environment, with genuine long-term career progression opportunities available within the business. You will be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background delivering complex M&E projects within the construction industry, ideally working alongside Tier 1 main contractors across sectors such as Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Industrial, Data Centres, or Energy. With excellent technical, commercial, and leadership capability, you will be confident managing projects from pre-construction through to handover, leading teams effectively, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. You will have a strong understanding of design and build procurement routes, commissioning and handover processes, Health & Safety management, and modern construction methods including off-site fabrication. A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage budgets, programmes, quality, and operational delivery simultaneously are essential. Electrical experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
