Job Title: Telehandler Operator
Overview:
Operate a telescopic handler (telehandler) to move, lift, and place materials safely on a construction site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate the telehandler to lift and transport materials (e.g. bricks, pallets, equipment)
* Load and unload deliveries
* Place materials at required heights and locations
* Carry out daily safety and maintenance checks on the machine
* Follow site safety rules and instructions from supervisors
* Work with banksmen/signallers when moving loads
* Keep the machine clean and in good working condition
Requirements:
* Valid telehandler licence (e.g. CPCS or NPORS)
* Previous experience on construction sites
* Good understanding of health and safety
* Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
Working Conditions:
* Outdoor work in all weather conditions
* May involve early starts and long hours
* Requires attention to safety at all times
