LOCATION/BASE: You will be working at our location in the Titanic Quarter: Unit 1 Oakbank, Channel Park, Queens Road, Belfast BT3 9DT. DEPARTMENTAL OVERVIEW: The Product Team defines Artemis Technologies’ vessel architectures, performance requirements and technology roadmap. The team integrates design, performance modelling, validation and fleet data to ensure products meet technical, operational and commercial objectives. The Data function supports the capture, processing and analysis of operational vessel data, providing insight into vessel behaviour, system performance and operational efficiency. These datasets support engineering validation, product development and evidence-based client proposals. The Junior Data Analyst focuses on supporting the development and deployment of the vessel data toolchain and internal analysis capabilities. This includes data integration, processing pipelines and analysis tooling that enable structured interrogation of vessel performance datasets. This internship complements that capability by focusing on exploratory mathematical analysis of vessel datasets, helping to identify patterns, operational regimes and performance characteristics that can inform product development and engineering insight. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE: This internship provides an opportunity to apply advanced mathematical and data analysis techniques to real-world vessel performance datasets. Working alongside the Product Team and Data Manager, the intern will analyse operational vessel data to explore relationships between environmental conditions, vessel operation and energy consumption. The work will focus on identifying patterns and structures within the data that can support engineering understanding and product development.
