Love working in the great outdoors? We’re seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our customer focused team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of communal outdoor areas, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing for our customers. Contractually based out of Basingstoke, you'll cover Basingstoke and the surrounding North Hampshire area. This is a full-time permanent role, working 39 hours per week!

Here’s the facts about the role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you'll carry out a high standard of grounds work to make our communal grounds areas attractive for customers. You’ll have good communication skills and the ability to interact with residents and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You’ll have good knowledge and experience in this field with skills to operate a variety of equipment, machines and materials that you’ll use on a daily basis.
Duties will include:
12. Routine grounds maintenance tasks, such as grass/hedge cutting, trimming, and weeding
13. Hard area maintenance and low-level tree work as well as soft landscaping
14. Shrub maintenance
15. Ensuring communal areas are free from litter and debris.
16. Perform regular inspections to identify and address any potential safety hazards
17. Assist with seasonal tasks, such as leaf removal
18. Operating grounds maintenance equipment and tools
19. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and from residents

21. Manual handling and lifting heavy and bulky items
22. A high degree of mobility, which will include walking/lifting/loading and unloading vehicles
Offers are subject to a full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) to be able to drive one of our vans when needed.
