Accounts Semi-Senior – Peterborough – Top 10 Firm

Our client is a Top 10 practice known for their excellent training schemes from trainee to Partner, international links and flexible working policy. Accounts Semi-Senior responsibilities include:
* Preparing financial statements in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards from source documents/records to final accounts for review by the appropriate manager
* Preparing accounting schedules to support the balances and transactions included in the financial statements
* Working on a wide range of accounts including FRS102, FRS102 1A, partnerships and consolidations
* Developing and maintaining good client relations
* Liaising with clients directly or through relevant managers to resolve queries or obtain further information
As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will be/have:
* AAT Qualified or studying towards ACCA, or ACA
* Strong practical knowledge/experience of accounts preparation with at least two to three years’ experience within an accountancy practice environment
* Strong double entry knowledge and skill
* Cloud based accounting systems knowledge – use of Xero and QuickBooks knowledge would be beneficial
* Basic tax knowledge - awareness of how to do tax computations, PAYE, VAT
