This role offers excellent hands-on experience in international marketing across both B2B and B2C contexts.\n\nOverview:\nYou will work closely with our Head of Business Development and Marketing, Marketing Manager and Marketing Design and Content Executive to support the delivery of high-quality visual and written content across multiple platforms. You will play a key role in producing engaging social media assets, digital communications, print materials and event collateral - particularly for our twice-yearly Boarding Schools Expos in Kenya, where you will take the lead on updating and adapting a wide range of branded materials.\n\nFrom day one, youâll gain practical experience working on real campaigns that reach global audiences, both B2B and B2C, while developing your design, content creation and project coordination skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.\n\nSalary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum\n\nWorking hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch\n\nYouâll benefit from:\nâ¢\tA friendly, supportive environment to learn and grow.\nâ¢\tExposure to marketing strategy, international events and campaign planning.\nâ¢\tOpportunities to take on more responsibility as your skills grow.\nâ¢\t28 days annual leave including public holidays plus an additional 3 days over the festive period; plus 2 days volunteering per annum.\nâ¢\tEmployee Assistance Programme.\nâ¢\tFree parking.\nâ¢\tAnnual railcard.\nâ¢\tFree teas & coffees on site, plus an off site coffee hour with manager each term.\nâ¢\tChristmas lunch and birthday cake.\n\nFuture prospects:\n90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.\n Responsibilities:\nSocial media:\nâ¢\tHelp create and schedule content for our platforms: Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn â with opportunities to explore TikTok and Twitter.\nâ¢\tMonitor engagement across platforms, including the monitoring of comments â replying to relevant comments, deleting inappropriate comments and notifying the sales team of potential leads.\nâ¢\tTaking a proactive approach to engagement through liking, commenting on and sharing posts from relevant schools, agents and third-parties.\n\nDesign:\nâ¢\tUpdating existing collateral for our Boarding Schools Expos in Kenya, twice per year. Some of this includes - social media, billboards, flyers, email content, venue advertising and delegate and media packs.\nâ¢\tEditing and improving our existing marketing resources that are used by both our sales and operations teams â such as handbooks, brochures, pricing documents and staff profiles.\n\nEvents:\nâ¢\tLiaise and coordinate with external agencies, publishers and photographers/videographers where necessary.\nâ¢\tSupport the planning and promotion of our Boarding Schools Expos and other key events.\n\nBrand consistency and best practice:\nâ¢\tEnsure all visual and written content aligns with Academic Familiesâ brand guidelines, tone of voice, and values across all platforms.\nâ¢\tStay informed on competitor activity, education trends and platform updates to ensure Academic Familiesâ marketing remains innovative and relevant.\nâ¢\tKeep up to date with digital marketing best practices, changes in platform algorithms and emerging trends.\n\nContent management:\nâ¢\tResponsible for the continuous organisation and optimisation of our content libraries â ensuring quality content is consistently highlighted and easily accessible.\n Desirable skills:\nâ¢\tA creative and passionate individual with great attention to detail and a genuine interest in marketing and design.\nâ¢\tExperience with photo and video editing software such as Adobe InDesign, Canva and Adobe Illustrator.\nâ¢\tGreat eye for detail.\nâ¢\tAble to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.\nâ¢\tOrganised and willing to learn.\nâ¢\tAny experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g. HubSpot, Buffer, Later, Hootsuite).\nâ¢\tInterest in photography or video content creation.\nâ¢\tDriver with access to a car.\n\nImportant information:\nThis vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.
