Role Summary
The client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10+ years of professional experience to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT initiatives. The role involves managing projects delivered through a hybrid model combining Agile and Waterfall methodologies and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT projects from initiation through closure
* Manage project delivery using a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Define project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies
* Lead and motivate cross‑functional delivery teams, including onshore and offshore resources
* Ensure adherence to project governance, delivery standards, and best practices
* Effectively manage and communicate with senior stakeholders and business sponsors
* Influence senior leadership to secure funding and approval for proposed initiatives
* Monitor project performance and take corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes
* Provide regular project updates, status reports, and executive‑level communications
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager
* Proven experience delivering complex IT projects end to end
* Strong expertise in IT project delivery methodologies, processes, and governance
* Experience leading delivery teams and managing team performance
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
* Recognised project management qualification (e.g. APMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent)
* Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders to secure funding
* Experience managing projects with a blend of onshore and offshore resources
* Prior experience working within a retail organization preferred
* Expert knowledge of business processes within relevant functional areas
