Teaching Personnel is working in exclusive partnership with a number of secondary schools across the region and is currently recruiting Maths Supply Teachers for positions starting in September 2025. Key Responsibilities:
As a Maths supply teacher, your duties may include:
Delivering engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages 3–5
Following the school's schemes of work or delivering pre-set lessons
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policy
Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential and ensuring continuity in their learning
Marking and assessing student work where applicable (particularly in long-term placements)
Maintaining high standards of teaching and safeguarding throughout all responsibilities
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Subject specialism in Maths or strong teaching experience in the subject
Good classroom management and communication skills
Adaptable, reliable, and professional approach
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (can be arranged through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
