Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Roving Chef Manager to join the team in the Midlands & Wales. This is a permanent opportunity, you will be required to travel.. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of all catering services.

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:
* Train and run kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all activities;
* Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
* Travel to different sites to assist with mobilisations, sickness cover, relief shifts etc
* Select and develop recipes as well as standardise production recipes to ensure quality
* Ensure accurate equipment operation/maintenance and ensures proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
* Stocktaking and placing orders through our systems
* Regularly review performance with each member of the team
* Ensure that training records are maintained
* Check that all supplies are a specified quality and not breaching purchasing policy as outlined by Purchasing
* Supervise portion numbers, control food wastage on site and take appropriate action as the need arises
You'll be set up for success if you have:
* Experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or problems.
* A passion for service and quality
* Full UK driving licence
* Good people leadership skills
* Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative
