We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Compliance Analyst** to support our First Line Risk and Compliance team during a 12-month interim period. This is a critical role within the organisation’s compliance framework, ensuring regulatory adherence across all insurance operations within a fast paced business.
Key Responsibilities
Guide and assist the business in delivering the correct outcomes for our customers whilst ensuring the appropriate balance between commercial interests of the business, the goals of the FCA and the interests of our customers
Be a first contact for general compliance queries, to resolve quickly and efficiently
Monitor, review, and assess compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies
Support incident investigations through to completion and maintain accurate compliance documentation
Manage Sanctions checking procedures
Collate and analyse Conduct MI undertaking trend and root cause analysis
Ensure the implementation of advice and guidance from 2LoD
Ensure the business operates in line with Group policies and procedures
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a compliance, regulatory or risk-focused role (insurance experience highly preferred)
- Familiarity with FCA guidelines and insurance-specific regulation
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Relevant qualification (e.g. ICA, CII, law degree) desirable but not essential
