About the role
The Technical Management Officer supports the Highway team in carrying out statutory duties related to managing works on the highway. You will be part of the highway licensing team, managing and administering licence and permit applications for activities on the adopted highway network. You will attend pre-commencement site meetings and conduct regular site inspections to ensure works meet specifications.
The role involves liaising with Council Officers, particularly the Street Works Team, Planning and Traffic Officers, and the public. You will also be outside undertaking site meetings as needed.
