Overview
We have 1.4 band 3 Nursing Support Worker posts available within the Crisis Service / Home Treatment Team in the East area MHLD services and we are looking for passionate, experienced individuals to join us. The team provides crisis assessment and short intervention to adults within the East area of North Wales aligned to the Home Treatment team. These posts form part of a wider unscheduled care service working in collaboration with 111+2 Single Point of Access 24/7 service, Community Mental health teams and Liaison service. The aim of the service is to promote recovery and wellbeing by supporting individuals who are experiencing Mental Health crisis through assessment and short intervention. The aim is to reduce the need of service users to access statutory services.
Main duties of the job
The team currently operates between the hours of 8.30am – 8.30pm, 7 days a week, with a view of expanding team hours as the service develops into a 24/7 service. You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team delivering care to patients experiencing mental health crisis in the community under the direction of a qualified practitioner. You will receive regular supervision and good training opportunities. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
