About the Role: As Senior Mechanic / Workshop Supervisor, youll not only carry out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a wide range of vehicles including electric and hyperideal also be responsible for leading and supervising a team of technicians. You'll take ownership of daily workshop operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety remain top priority. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on the tools but is also confident guiding others and driving performance within the workshop. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, service, and repair all makes and models of vehicles Work on electric and hybrid vehicles (EV experience essential) Lead and manage a team of technicians delegating tasks, mentoring, and overseeing quality Coordinate daily workflow and ensure jobs are completed efficiently Liaise with service advisors and management for smooth workshop operations Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace Uphold compliance with all health and safety guidelines About the Garage: Our client is a trusted, independent garage with a strong reputation for professionalism, reliability, and exceptional customer service in the Sidcup area. Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM Rotational Saturdays (details shared at interview) Overtime available Annual performance-based bonus Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the UK UK Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent) EV certification and experience working on electric vehicles Proven experience in supervising or leading a workshop team Full UK driving licence with a clean record Your own set of tools Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills Strong leadership qualities with a professional, can-do attitude
