Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Family Law Solicitor to join their growing team based in their Caerphilly office. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor or experienced legal professional with a strong background in family law who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload and provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients across a range of private family law matters. This role would suit someone confident working independently while also collaborating effectively within a professional team.
Key Duties
* Manage a varied caseload of private family law matters.
* Handle cases relating to divorce, separation, and ancillary relief/financial settlements.
* Provide clear and professional legal advice to clients throughout all stages of their case.
* Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure they are informed of progress and outcomes.
* Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and court applications.
* Attend client meetings, negotiations, and court hearings where required.
* Work closely with colleagues to deliver a high standard of legal services.
* Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Undertake general administrative duties and case management tasks.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor or relevant legal qualification with proven experience in family law.
* Experience handling private family matters including divorce and financial settlements.
* Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general case management systems.
