The role As a Customer Service Administrator, you’ll play a key role in delivering a professional, efficient, and friendly service to our customers. You’ll be responsible for handling queries, managing orders, and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely updates. Key responsibilities Handle customer queries promptly and professionally Provide accurate delivery updates for goods and services Liaise with external suppliers and carriers Obtain and share Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation Investigate and report non-conformance issues (ISO9001) Manage returns and process associated credits Resolve customer issues or escalate where required Support scheduling, filing, and document preparation Assist with purchasing tasks (e.g. expediting orders, PODs) Update orders, purchase orders, and issues on internal systems Input orders and support sales team administration Answer overflow inbound sales calls Work collaboratively with other departments What we’re looking for Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organisation and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Confident working both independently and as part of a team Good IT skills Proactive, self-motivated approach Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Desirable (but not essential) Experience in customer service or sales administration Experience chasing quotes or working in a technical/industrial environment Full training provided – great opportunity to grow in a technical industry.
