Public Health Knowledge and Intelligence Analyst - ASC Lead (Fixed Term 2 years)

This role is part of the Public Health Research and Intelligence Team, which provides intelligence and insight to inform priority programmes. The analyst will lead the provision of specialist public health analytical input into a programme aimed at understanding and mitigating the rising demand for adult social care services. You will work across the Council and with external stakeholders to produce evidence‑based recommendations to address adult social care demand.
Responsibilities
* Lead and establish approaches for delivering a programme of work on adult social care demand.
* Conduct epidemiological analysis to assess current patterns and drivers of demand.
* Model and forecast future trends of adult social care demand.
* Provide specialist public health analytical input and evidence‑based recommendations.
Qualifications
* Good knowledge of health and care data.
* Advanced public health analytical skills and problem‑solving capacity.
* Degree level education.
* Substantial experience undertaking specialist and complex analysis to inform decision‑making.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience working with adult social care data (advantageous).
