Our client, a respected educational institution in Tiverton, Devon, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-time Teacher Assistant to join their supportive team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating an engaging and inclusive learning environment for students, working closely with teachers to ensure the highest quality of education is delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials and resources to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records, communicating regularly with teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to learning
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and fosters a love of learning
- Support the development of students' social skills and emotional well-being, promoting a culture of respect and understanding
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of educational materials, displays, and resources
- Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and on educational trips or activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject, such as childcare, education, or youth work
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- A proactive and collaborative attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
- Proficiency in using technology to support learning, such as interactive whiteboards and educational software
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
