About the Role
Join us as a Team Manager in our Older Adults’ Mental Health Service and lead a team that brings our EPIC values Empowering, Personcentred, Inclusive and Collaborative to life every day. You’ll guide practitioners supporting adults aged 65 and over with organic and functional mental health needs, ensuring they can remain independent, safe and well.
You’ll champion strengthsbased, personcentred practice, embed a dedicated mental health social care pathway, and work collaboratively with partners across health, commissioning, primary care and the voluntary sector. Your leadership will ensure highquality assessments, effective safeguarding responses and recoveryfocused support for older adults with complex needs.

About You
You bring confident, compassionate leadership and a strong understanding of mental health social care for older adults. You can manage complex risk, lead safeguarding responses and support staff through reflective supervision that empowers them to grow and strengthens their professional identity.
You understand the Care Act, strengthsbased practice and the importance of inclusive, recoveryfocused support for people living with dementia, functional mental health needs and significant vulnerabilities such as selfneglect or exploitation. You work collaboratively with partners, value coproduction with people with lived experience, and use performance data and emerging themes to drive improvement.
Most importantly, you lead in a way that reflects our EPIC values empowering staff, championing personcentred and inclusive practice, and fostering strong collaboration across the system. You can inspire your team to deliver highquality, safe and effective support that improves outcomes for older adults, carers and families.
Additional Information
* An enhanced/basic DBS Check with children/adults barred list will be required.
* You will be required to drive in this role. You will be asked for a copy of your driving license as part of the recruitment process.
* You may be asked to work across our other mental health teams at different bases in the Trafford area.
