What the Job Involves This role involves managing a team of social workers and personal advisors, ensuring the safeguarding and promotion of the best interests of children in accordance with statutory frameworks. You will lead the management of staff and resources, provide frontline leadership, and support senior managers in strategizing and policy development. Prioritizing workloads, conducting regular supervision meetings, and managing performance targets are key responsibilities. You will also ensure compliance with policies, manage budgets, and foster effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will oversee various social work teams focused on looked-after children, fostering, adoption, referrals, assessments, and quality assurance.
