We’re looking for a confident and capable Personal Assistant to support our Group IT Director and IT Leadership Team. The Role
As PA to the IT Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the productivity of the IT function. You’ll manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings and travel, and ensure communications and documentation are accurate, timely, and aligned with strategic priorities. You’ll also be a key liaison across leadership teams, helping to drive collaboration across the business.
This is a part-time opportunity (0.5 FTE), offering hybrid working arrangements based in Harrogate (HG2 7DL). Days and times are flexible and can be discussed at interview, however the ideal candidate should be able to work from the site for the majority of the week. Please note that this position is not suitable for fully remote applicants, as regular on-site collaboration in Harrogate is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the IT Director’s diary, meetings, and inbox to maximise efficiency
* Coordinate internal and external communications, reports, and presentations
* Organise IT events and forums to support team engagement and development
* Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions for key meetings
* Support people processes and build strong relationships across the IT Leadership Team
* Manage travel arrangements and oversee budget responsibilities
* Represent the IT Director in interactions with internal and external stakeholders
What You Bring
* Proven experience of managing and planning a busy diary, at senior Director level with a focus on strategic planning and scheduling
* Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with sound judgement and discretion
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently, using initiative to drive activity and solve problems
* Ability to listen and interpret technical and non technical information and translate into cohesive notes
* Experience producing high-quality reports and presentations
