The Role
As our People and Culture Director, youll play a pivotal role on the Executive Leadership Team, shaping the future of our employee experience, culture, and talent strategy. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, youll lead a dynamic HR team and collaborate closely with the Exec Leadership team to embed a culture of inclusion, innovation, innovation, and performance. based in Edinburgh, this role will involve travel across our UK sites.
This is a strategic leadership role with significant influence across the organisation, offering the opportunity to shape Apexs long-term people strategy, drive transformation, and contribute to commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a forward-thinking People and Culture strategy aligned with Apexs business goals and growth ambitions
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organisation
Lead talent acquisition, development, and retention initiatives to build high-performing teams
Oversee employee engagement, wellbeing, and internal communications
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice
What Were Looking For
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within hospitality or a customer-focused industry
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong commercial acumen
Inspirational leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive workplace culture that drives performance
Experience leading change and transformation programmes
CIPD qualified or equivalent
