About the Role
We're looking for a part-qualified or newly qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to develop their skills in a supportive environment while contributing to our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for supporting our month-end and year-end reporting processes, preparing management accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. You'll work closely with colleagues across the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available to support business decisions. Your role will involve preparing variance analysis, maintaining financial records, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Requirements
You'll be part-qualified or newly qualified as a Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills. Experience of a project-accounting environment would be beneficial but not essential and the role would suit someone with excellent Excel capabilities who can manipulate and interpret data, and produce clear reports. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial information, while your problem-solving abilities will help you navigate challenges and find practical solutions. You'll thrive working collaboratively as part of our finance team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues in a role that will encompass all aspects of company financial reporting.
Working Arrangements
This is an office-based role requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site in Alderley Park, with flexibility for remote working on the remaining days.
