English Teacher
Location: Middlesbrough
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £160 - £250 per day (Paid to Scale)
We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher who can inspire a love of literature and language in young people, manage classroom effectively across KS3 and KS4, and is qualified for a long-term role with the potential for permanent placement.
Responsibilities
- Teach English across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Assess student progress and complete associated marking responsibilities.
Qualifications
- QTS with an English specialism.
- Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong planning, preparation and marking skills.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
- A thorough understanding of the English curriculum.
- A positive, adaptable and committed approach to teaching and learning.
