Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE + Benefits.

Key Responsibilities
* Setting Out and Surveying, including interpreting technical drawings and specifications to accurately set out works. Maintain precise records of measurements and site levels.
* Use of GPS, total stations and laser levels to mark out excavation lines, pipe runs and other infrastructure.
* Quality Assurance, including working to the required safety standards, conducting regular inspections to verify dimensions and assisting in compiling as‑built records and red‑line drawings.
* Coordination and Communication, liaising with site managers, subcontractors and design teams to resolve technical issues and ensure setting out requirements are clear.
* Check, sign off and support the implementation of temporary works.
* Health, Safety and Environment, promoting and adhering to site safety protocols and environmental standards. Identify and report hazards or non‑compliance. Assist in risk assessments and safe systems of work.
* Documentation and Reporting, maintaining site diaries and setting out logs, providing input into reports and supporting quality documentation. Preparation of handovers and client submissions.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: Knowledge of Civil Engineering construction methods, understanding of mechanical and electrical disciplines – a strong background in the water industry is preferred.
Certifications: HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, CSCS Card (engineering or professionally qualified), SSSTS or SMSTS training (desirable), Water Hygiene and Confined Space certification (advantageous), full UK driving licence.
IT Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages and job‑specific technology.
Health & Safety: IOSH or NEBOSH standard (completed or in progress).
Soft Skills: Leadership, problem‑solving, team collaboration, and strong organisation.
Personality Traits: Professional, confident, friendly, adaptable, safety‑conscious, punctual, flexible.
