Deep infrastructure troubleshooting capability spanning storage, networking, and performance for VM-based workloads on OpenShift. Production-grade OpenShift virtualization experience, including VM lifecycle, migration from vSphere, and performance-aware operations. Infrastructure-level troubleshooting and stakeholder maturity, with the ability to diagnose cross-layer issues and lead incident resolution with confidence. Proficiency in relevant technologies such as Python and Linux. Familiarity with Kubernetes and GitOps methodologies. Responsibilities: Work on a large technology migration for a Tier-1 Banking client over a long-term project lasting between 12-24 months. Collaborate with an existing product management team focusing on Operational Observability as part of the migration. Manage the lifecycle of VMs on OpenShift, ensuring smooth operations and migrations from vSphere. Implement and maintain GitOps-driven operations for OpenShift. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues to ensure optimal performance of VM-based workloads. Lead incident resolution efforts by diagnosing cross-layer issues effectively.
