Key Responsibilities
1. Provide professional advice, guidance, and support on employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary matters.
2. Support managers with investigations, hearings, and employment correspondence, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
3. Assist in the delivery of People & Culture training and contribute to best practice in people management.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of business requirements, People & Culture policies, and client-specific procedures.
5. Support case management for Employment Tribunal claims and contribute to fair and consistent outcomes.
6. Establish effective communication channels across the People & Culture team and wider business.
7. Promote equal opportunities and cultural diversity in all aspects of people management.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
8. Strong generalist HR/People & Culture experience with proven ability to advise and guide managers on all aspects of people management.
9. Educated to degree level and/or CIPD qualified (or working towards qualification).
10. Good knowledge of UK employment legislation with experience of TUPE and trade union engagement.
11. Experience in change management, business reorganisations, and supporting transformation.
12. Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to prioritise and manage multiple projects to deadlines.
13. Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
14. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with competence in producing reports, statistics, and communications.
