Commercial Account Handler

We’ve been looking after our clients for over 40 years from our Rickmansworth office and we’re looking to add to the team to ensure our clients have the best advice possible on hand at all times.
Our growth and retention rates are fuelled by our people, so we want to look after them and make sure they can do what they do best – look after clients, this role is key to ensuring the team can carry on pushing forwards to win and retain more clients in the region.
Accordingly, we’d be interested in talking to Account Handlers who are comfortable in dealing with a broad range of clients ranging from £1k to £20k with exposure to larger risks (up to £50k) being beneficial but not essential.
The Day To Day
1. Assisting clients with renewals, mid-term adjustments, documentation queries and quotations for additional products
2. Working closely with the account executives on larger cases
3. Building strong relationships with clients and insurers to maximise retention levels
4. Ensuring documentation and systems are accurate
5. Working in a compliant and timely manner on all cases
6. Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders

Your Experience
11. You’ll have a solid grounding in general commercial insurance with exposure to the main commercial insurance products ideally with some working knowledge of Professional & Financial Lines.
12. Your skill set should include strong communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, relationship and stakeholder management, IT and influencing skills coupled with an eye for detail.
13. You should also be comfortable in dealing with customer enquiries via phone, face to face and email
14. Prior experience working in an Acturis environment would be beneficial (full training can be provided)
