An established pharmaceutical organisation in the Northwest is seeking a detail-oriented Quality professional to join their Quality team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career within a fast-moving, highly regulated environment.
Working closely with Production, Quality, Regulatory and Qualified Person (QP) functions, you will help ensure batches are delivered on time, in line with GMP standards, and to a high level of accuracy. The role is hands-on within production areas, supporting quality checks, documentation, and team performance.
The Role:
• Carry out in-process quality checks in line with SOPs and GMP requirements
• Communicate packing requirements to production teams
• Complete routine checks and provide cover where required
• Inspect and sample materials, investigating any quality concerns
• Review and sign off batch documentation for QP assessment
• Record deviations and support associated documentation and rework
• Ensure accurate reconciliation and production room clearance
• Maintain stock records using internal systems
• Support training of new staff and promote GMP best practice
The Person:
• Previous experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing, repackaging, or quality control would be ideal. Either production and/or batch checking type positions also would be suitable in GMP/ GDP settings.
• Good understanding of GMP standards or GDP
• Ideally batch release experience and experience in CAPA, OOs, OOt etc
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence effectively
• High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
