Derry Credit Union Limited are seeking to appoint the following: SENIOR OFFICER, CASH & BANKING DEPARTMENT Hours: Monday Saturday - 37 hours p/w over 5 days per week Status: Permanent Post (Office Based Abbey Street, Derry) Salary scale: £29,629 - £32,323 (Under Review) The successful candidate will embrace our vision and values and will positively contribute to the credit union and assist the Head of Operations & Business Development; to lead, motivate, develop and manage staff engaged within the department, organise and manage the cash office, provide a service to the members, ensure all internal controls are adhered to and deliver on the strategic objectives for Derry Credit Union Limited. Essential Requirements: 5 GCSEs to include Maths and English at grade C or above Level 4 Qualification on the NQF Framework Be qualified by experience having worked for a minimum of 3 years in the past 10 years in a similar organisation And demonstrate the following competencies: Experience of supervising staff Experience of motivating staff Experience of developing and managing a team Experience of how to engage effectively with stakeholders and colleagues Experience of delegating work but retaining oversight Experience of analysing data and writing reports Be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Possess strong leadership qualities Possess strong administrative skills Desirable Requirements: A minimum of Level 5 Qualification on the NQF Framework Experience working in a Financial Services organisation in the past 10 years A recognised leadership/Management Qualification Benefits: Holiday entitlement 20 days increasing to 25 days plus 13 recognised holidays Occupational Pension Scheme Employer Contribution 15.3% (currently) Occupational Sick Scheme Occupational Health Scheme Uniform On-site Parking Application packs are available by clicking Apply below.
