Amour Recruitment is seeking an Archivist/Legal Cashier to work with a great firm of Solicitors based in Chichester.
We are looking for someone who has genuine enthusiasm and motivation with an aptitude for numbers and a keen eye for detail.
Duties Include:
1. Archive files in accordance with the firm’s policies and regulatory requirements
2. Maintain a client database in connection with archived files
3. Liaise with fee earners, external storage, and secure shredding companies in relation to file collection, retrieval, and destruction.
4. Processing financial transactions relating to client matters in a timely manner and in accordance with the SRA Accounts Rules.
5. Managing and reconciling supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring invoices are paid within agreed terms.
6. Preparing payment runs, including BACS transfers and cheque payments.
7. Processing petty cash and credit card expenditure.
Personal requirements:
8. Previous experience working in a professional office preferred
9. High attention to detail and accuracy
10. Good organisational and time management skills
11. Competent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Hours: 9 am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday
Salary: from £24,000 (salary negotiable for the right candidate)
