What you will do:
- Manage a varying caseload of 50 to 65 clients providing specialised support for adults dealing with substance misuse issues including opiates, non-opiates, and alcohol
- Develop and implement comprehensive recovery plans tailored to individual client needs
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops to promote awareness and prevention
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and continuous care
- Support clients in accessing community resources and services to aid in their recovery journey
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report regularly to supervisors and stakeholders
Requirements for the role of Substance Misuse Worker:
- Recent experience in Substance Misuse Substance Abuse Addiction Drug and Alcohol Needle Exchange or Recovery
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in a related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability and experience in managing a diverse caseload effectively
