Job Description Head of Group Business Solutions (GBS), Euroclear UK & International (EUI) Euroclear is offering a unique and exciting opportunity for a senior director within the Group Business Solutions Division (GBS) of the Group IT organisation. This role is centred on our UK business and is instrumental in leading the largest software transformation programme across the Euroclear Group, setting a precedent for other entities. As Head of GBS for Euroclear UK & International (EUI), you will be a key member of the GBS Leadership Team, responsible for the full lifecycle of technology solutions that support our EUI business and underpin the UK’s capital markets. You will lead a diverse team in transforming the EUI technology stack, integrating Group assets and emerging technologies while maintaining existing solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. You will also play a significant role in EUI’s management team. The GBS UK Tribe has experienced significant growth and will continue to expand. A strong, visionary leader is required to guide this team. You will act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, shaping strategy and investment to meet long-term objectives. You will be directly accountable for the successful delivery of projects and programmes, in collaboration with business partners, and for ensuring the stability and support of EUI applications. YOUR ROLE As Head Of GBS For EUI, You Will Be a core member of the GBS Leadership Team. Oversee the full lifecycle of technology solutions supporting the UK’s capital markets. Lead a diverse and growing team through a major technology transformation. Integrate Group assets and emerging technologies while maintaining operational stability. Play a key role in EUI’s management team and strategic direction. You will act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, shaping long-term strategy and investment, and ensuring successful delivery of programmes and services. Your Responsibilities Executive Relationship Management Lead IT service delivery for EUI. Maintain regular engagement with the EUI CEO, CTO, and CFO. Represent IT in the EUI Management Committee. Roadmap & Strategy Co-develop and implement the EUI IT strategy. Drive innovation and transformation across multiple locations. Deliver change initiatives on time and within budget. Manage risk, dependencies, and change control. Team Leadership Lead the GBS UK Tribe and its leadership team. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture. Support career development and talent recognition. Enhance workforce capability through training and recruitment. Strategic Contribution Shape the direction of the GBS Division. Lead cross-functional initiatives across the wider IT organisation. STRATEGIC CHALLENGES (Next 24–36 Months) Deliver IT services across London, Krakow, India, and other locations. Promote innovation and cost efficiency. Engage with the EUI Board, regulators, and senior clients. Ensure staffing and training for a 200-strong team. YOUR PROFILE Experience & Ambition 15 years in senior IT leadership and transformation roles. Proven success in global, multicultural environments. Skilled in engaging and influencing C-suite executives. Ambition to grow into broader leadership roles. Core Competencies Strategic Thinking: Long-term vision, prioritisation, and creativity. Strong grasp of market and technology trends, including FMI. Change Leadership: Drives transformation, raises performance standards.
