Lightsource is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales activity across the UK and Ireland.
We work on high end residential, hospitality and commercial lighting projects, providing lighting design, specification and supply services to architects, interior designers, developers and contractors.
This is a senior role within the business and an opportunity to help shape the next phase of growth as we continue evolving from a reactive quoting business into a design led lighting partner.
The Role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business, supporting the existing sales team and ensuring opportunities are managed professionally from initial enquiry through to project completion.
You will work closely with our lighting consultants, technical team and supply partners to identify opportunities, develop client relationships and convert lighting design projects into profitable supply contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the Lightsource sales team
* Manage and develop a structured sales pipeline
* Ensure enquiries and quotations are followed up and progressed effectively
* Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, developers and contractors
* Secure new project opportunities across hospitality, residential and commercial sectors
* Oversee the conversion of lighting design proposals into confirmed orders
* Work with internal teams to ensure projects are priced correctly and achieve target margins
* Introduce structure and discipline to the sales process and CRM systems
* Help build a positive and commercially focused sales culture within the business
Experience
We are looking for someone with strong commercial awareness and the ability to develop opportunities from early stage discussions through to completed projects.
Experience within lighting, architecture, interiors, construction or specification based industries would be highly advantageous.
