We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Accountant to join our client's team in Bromley! If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers this could be your next big opportunity!
Location: Bromley, Greater London
Contract Type: Permanent, Full- time role, fully office based
Salary Range: £35, - £40,, depending on your experience
Required:
1. Experience working on Xero
2. Degree / Qualification or equivalent in Finance / Accounting
What You'll Do:
As an Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of their financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
3. Supporting our external accountants with year-end accounts preparation and reconciliations
4. Raising purchase orders, quotations, and invoices
5. Onboarding new suppliers and clients
6. Completing credit account applications
7. Dealing with finance/compliance-related enquiries
What Our Client Is Looking For:
They are specifically looking for candidates with strong practical experience across:
8. Reconciliation of transactions (bank & credit card)
9. Payroll processing (PAYE and NEST administration)
10. VAT returns
11. HMRC liaison
12. Year-end accounts
13. Audit preparation / dealing with external auditors
14. Balance sheet reconciliations
15. Management accounts support/reporting
16. Multi-currency transactions
17. AP/AR and credit control
