Role Overview:
We're in search of a visionary Head of Data Science to spearhead our talented team towards groundbreaking innovations in cancer care. This role is crucial for leading our efforts in managing and leveraging multi-modal medical data, including sophisticated medical imaging and omics data, to set CureCollect apart as a market leader in AI-driven cancer treatment solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Direct and evolve our diagnostic models and drug discovery initiatives through advanced data science and AI technologies.
* Manage and mentor a dedicated team of data scientists, bioinformaticians, and data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Oversee the comprehensive analysis of extensive datasets, including histopathology WSI, MRI, and various omics data.
* Pioneer the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Latent Variable Models (LVMs) in medical research to advance our objectives.
* Build and maintain strategic collaborations with premier pharmaceutical and biotech companies to bolster our data science projects.
* Define and guide the strategic direction of our data science initiatives to amplify their impact on global cancer care.
* Transform intricate datasets into actionable insights, driving the development of AI-driven healthcare solutions.
Qualifications:
* A PhD in Data Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a closely related field.
* Demonstrated experience in multi-modal medical data management, with a strong focus on medical image data and omics data.
* Proven track record in applying LLMs and LVMs in healthcare, developing diagnostic models, and facilitating drug discovery.
* Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
* Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry’s requirements and expectations.
