About the Role:
As an English Teacher in Derby, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and impactful lessons that develop students’ language skills and literary appreciation. You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team committed to academic excellence and student success.
Key Responsibilities of English Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to support student development.
Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress effectively.
Requirements for English Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE.
Experience teaching English in a school setting.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A genuine passion for English education and student achievement.
Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching.

An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
