Your duties will include:
Adhere to the FIFO stock system
Run and manage a section during service
Prepare and present dishes to a high standard
Ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
Assist with stock control, deliveries, and waste management
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards (HACCAP)
To work from a prep list & menu given from senior chefs
Personal specification
Proven experience in a similar role catering for a minimum of 100 covers in each shift
Strong knowledge of fresh food
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Ability to work well within a team and alone
High attention to detail and consistency
Reliable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Due to the nature of the business the right candidate must be flexible with shifts: Early morning breakfast shifts & Evening dinner shifts.
The successful candidate will have experience in working in a fast-paced kitchen, have a level 2 hygiene certificate or higher as well as strong communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.
