Job Description
3. Processing weekly and monthly payroll for the company.
4. Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
5. Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information.
6. Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
7. Providing payroll information by answering questions and requests.
8. Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
9. Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
10. Staying informed about current legislation relating to payroll and employee benefits.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Technician should have:
11. A strong understanding of payroll systems including Excel (pivot tables & look-ups)
12. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
13. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
14. The ability to work well as part of a team.
15. Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
16. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
