Account Manager - Health Policy
My client, an award winning public affairs and digital marketing agency is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager with experience in healthcare policy, public affairs, or communications.
This is a key role within a collaborative team delivering impactful programmes across the NHS, life sciences, digital health, and social care sectors.
You will support client accounts by contributing to strategy, managing project delivery, and producing high-quality policy content. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a genuine interest in health and social care policy, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the planning and delivery of public affairs and policy campaigns for clients across the health and social care landscape
* Manage day-to-day client interactions, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and effective project coordination
* Draft high-quality policy materials, including briefings, reports, stakeholder correspondence, and parliamentary content
* Monitor political and policy developments within the NHS, government, and wider healthcare system to inform client strategies
* Conduct policy research and provide strategic insights and recommendations tailored to client objectives
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including MPs, civil servants, NHS leaders, and third-sector organisations
* Assist with the organisation and execution of stakeholder engagement activities, including events, meetings, and Parliamentary engagements
* Contribute to new business activity, including research, proposal development, and pitch preparation
* Collaborate with colleagues across the consultancy and support junior team members as needed
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone with:
* 2–4 years of relevant experience in public affairs, communications, or health policy
* A strong interest in UK health and/or social care policy
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A collaborative and proactive working style
* Experience working in a consultancy or agency environment (desirable)
* Exposure to working with clients in life sciences, pharma, or healthtech (desirable)
