Milk Education is partnering with a number of welcoming primary and secondary schools across Sunderland, South Tyneside, and Gateshead to recruit enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistants.

This role is ideal for recent graduates who are considering a career in education, psychology, or teaching and want hands-on classroom experience supporting pupils.

The Role:

1. Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 or small group basis

2. Assisting pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs

3. Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs

4. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

5. Gaining valuable experience ahead of teacher training or further study

What We’re Looking For:

6. A degree in any subject (education, psychology, sociology, or related fields desirable)

7. A genuine interest in education and supporting young people

8. A patient, caring, and adaptable approach

9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

10. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
